The aim of this half day programme is to update your skills and knowledge in order to remain effective in your role as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Target Audience:
This session is for Designated Safeguarding Leads who have received training in this area previously but are required to update their accreditation.

Due to the current social distancing restrictions in place in light of COVID-19, the CSCP has worked with our experienced trainers to ensure that safeguarding training can still be made available to multi-agency partners. Although, there will be some changes for all delegates to note prior to booking:

Delegates need to apply to join the course.
— Delegates will be sent the link for the handout pack two working days before the advertised training date, instructions will be provided.
— We have made the handout pack available across 2 days to help fit in with your changed working arrangements.
— Delegates are expected to work through the handouts, prior to the virtual session.

Before the training, we expect delegates to:

— Dedicate sufficient time to work through the handouts prior to the virtual session.
— Not share amend or adapt anything from the handouts, the copyright of these documents is held by the trainer.
— Please ensure you have the correct software on your device to join the virtual session.
— Please join in the virtual session earlier than advertised to allow for any IT issues.

Failure of any of the above will result in the delegate not receiving their certificate of accreditation.
