Course Description:

This half-day event is for all practitioners who need to understand how Camden’s early help service works, when it would be appropriate and how they can explain this to service users and other professionals.

Course Objectives:

Delegates will be able to:

— Explain Camden early help to a child, family or other professional
— Explain what happens when someone is worried and rings the Camden Children and Families Contact Service
— Understand where early help sits on the threshold of need and its difference to safeguarding
— Increased knowledge of the range of early help services available in Camden
— Reflect on what you can do to help a Camden family who might benefit from early help

Target Audience:

This event is suitable for professionals in all Working Together Groups and meets the requirements of Level 3 of the Intercollegiate Document.
