Course Description:
Join us for a focused Lunch & Learn session designed to help practitioners understand and apply the key guidance from the Camden Safeguarding Children Partnership’s briefing on bruising in pre-mobile babies.
This session will cover:
— Why bruising in pre-mobile infants is a significant safeguarding concern.
— National and local guidance on responding to bruising in non-mobile babies.
— Recognising patterns of bruising that may indicate physical abuse.
— The referral process to Camden’s Children and Family Contact Service.
— How to document concerns and apply safeguarding procedures confidently.
Who should attend? All practitioners working with babies, children and families, including social workers, health visitors, early help staff, educators, and voluntary sector professionals.
The CSCP will be delivering both face-to-face and virtual safeguarding training. Please ensure that you have read the course description, so you are clear on the delivery method for the course you have booked. Further details will be shared with you closer to the course date.
