Below are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) that we receive about our training.
If you have registered a training account with us, you will receive regular emails about courses. You can also visit our website: www.cscp.org.uk where course details are posted as soon as they are available.
Once you have opened a training account you need to visit the website and click on the course of your choice, you can then click ‘Apply’. You will then receive an email if your application is successful. You cannot apply for a place on a course unless you have registered with us first. You cannot apply for a place on a course on behalf of somebody else.
CSCP multi-agency courses are funded by the agencies which make up the Partnership. There is no charge for individuals attending CSCP training. Please note that if you are offered a place on a course and do not explain non-attendance or you cancel less than one week before the event your agency will be charged a £125 non-attendance fee. We expect that you will have discussed your application and how it meets your training needs before applying and that your manager will facilitate your attendance. If you need to cancel your place — you must do this via the website.
It may be possible to arrange this, but please ask us before proceeding as in some circumstances we will need to offer to those on the waiting list.
Participants will be provided with certificates of attendance if they attend the whole course. Arriving late or leaving early may result in not receiving a certificate. All certificates will be shared within 6–8 weeks of the course.
